The OAEE (Organismos Asfalisis Elevtheron Epangelmation) emerged in its present form from a merger in 1999 by three insurance carriers for self-employed (TEBE - Professionals for self and TAE - Retailers & TSA - for professional drivers).
to 08/01/2008, further, until then an independent insurance carrier (TANPI - Marine Marine agents and employees, TAPEAPI - for racecourse staff & TPX - for Owner and restaurant owners) involved in the OAEE. This is the OAEE now after the IKA's second largest insurance carriers in Greece.
The contribution will be in staggered classes of insurance. For insured before 1.1.1993, the contribution will be submitted only by the insured person. For the insured, the state increased from 1/1/1993 to the contributions by 1 / 3.

- disability (disability),
- age,
- survivors,
- accidents, illness &
- motherhood.
For pensions, formerly insured is between (before 01.01.1993) and new customers seeking (as of 01/01/1993) distinction.
disability pension for the formerly insured
claim exists if:
-> due to incapacity of work six months could not be exercised and
- in the opinion> the incapacity of at least 67%.
addition, at least a minimum period of insurance are met:
-> insurance period of 5 years, 2 of them in the last 5 years prior to becoming disabled, or
-> an insurance period of 15 years prior to becoming disabled, or
-> 1 / 2 of that period of insurance during an accident, or
-> an insurance period of one year in a work accident.
disability pension for new customers seeking
following requirements for a disability pension would be met:
- at least one year of insurance at the onset of disability until the age of 21 Birthday. Subsequent increases the minimum period for 5 months per year to up to 5 years to 34 Birthday or
- an insurance period of 5 years, of which two years must have in the past five years prior to the disability, or
- an insurance period of 15 years, or
- half of that period of insurance in an accident.

additional retirement benefits for new customers seeking
under the following conditions is enhanced pension:
- 60th Age at 15 years of insurance and insurance 2.5 years during the last five years prior to application *
- 51st Age at 20 years of insurance for mothers with two minors or those unable Children *
- 56th Age for mothers with three children
- 53rd Age for mothers with four children
- 50th Age for mothers with five children
