Mendoza
And then it was time that Jacob even begin to know the country to learn. If one my year abroad, for example, with Work & Travel in New Zealand compares indeed a difference is that one is a long time in one place and you do not learn constantly about new cities. Therefore, it was finally time to time. So off to Mednoza! Even the bus ride was awesome, we went in the first row above the bus into the sunset.
And at some point there will only vineyards and wineries, where one looks. And mountains! Huge impressive snow-capped mountains. But more on that later.
Zuerstmal Mendoza is a super green and clean city. It is said that per inhabitant is a tree, and that you can understand, especially when you see the city from above.
There is a large city park with a lake and it is all about San Martin. From here went to the Argentine General los namely with his crossing of the Andes, the Spaniards defeat and to liberate South America. The original banner is what he had to look at it too. Mendoza is a very nice quiet town with a large central square and four smaller ones around it. We also have two bar / disco streets where you can go well.
The highlight in Mendoza but the mountains. From the city center can
you see the Andes.
And the Aconcagua, which is 6900irgendwas meters second highest mountain in the world, only a few hours. We have made a rate 10 hours tour with people from all over the world through the Andes to the stunning mountain up close to see.
Then it was on the van on a narrow mountain path, where you could have beat me to crash, accompanied by worried comments on 4000 meters, and finally across the border into Chile.
And here at 4000 meters, it was a breathtaking view of the Andes.
The next day we made rafting. As you climb it with 5 other crazy in a rubber boat, and cruises down a river, always beautiful by between the Andes. The whole have passed so utterly quirky surfer, which we have declared a half hour what to do, so we had to either paddle so we come to the front, back, lift the paddle, or go inside the boat. You sit namely quite far out, and you can easily fall out if you ride through the rapids. Who will fall hats made out of? Of course, the Jakob, and it lost even the same shoe. So overall it was really an adventure. Then we could then still a little chill in a nice pool.
Then we're back, 22 hours by bus to Mar del Plata.
